Smart Relationships: Blog Comments

Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori

Room 6 and the rest of Team 4 made a quick video of the greetings in Te Reo Māori for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori. When saying hello to one person, you would say tēnā koe. You can also say kia ora, mōrena, or in the morning you might say ata mārie. You would use tēnā kōrua for two people, and tēnā koutou for three. Hope you enjoy!

KiwiSport for Room 6 - Hockey

Smart Relationships Interruption

Today, Room 6 was ready to present their Smart Relationships presentation that they did with their buddies. Zoe and Osa were in the middle of sharing their favourite slides when all of a sudden, the fire alarm went off! It set our lesson back a bit so it means we will be presenting the rest next week.

Kupe and the Wheke

Room 6 has been doing Te Reo Māori with the Year 6 cohort. This week the activity for our lesson was to create an online storyboard retelling the story of Kupe and the Wheke. Check out the storyboard that Mel created on 8bit art!
