At Point England School, our kōrero for this term (and the year) is 'Kia pai te kotahi' which means better together. Room 6 have been finding different and effective ways to work together.
One task that we did in class was making up games. We had to get into groups and create a game using ideas from our teammates.

Rugball looks like a fun game...if somewhat energetic! I believe that the boys "invented" the game to promote teamwork. The teams were mixed and named RED and BLUE...RED team won. The girls group (who I was working with today) really enjoyed the game. I wonder what game the girls will "invent"? Maybe next time you could have a TEACHERS v STUDENTS match?

Last week on Friday we played the boys game... it is called Rugball. The Rugball movie on the blog is brilliant. It is really helpful how you explained what we had to do. The Red team was awesome playing the game. The red team scored much more points than the blue team, but blue team team was the very best team but the red team was awesome. My favourite part of the game was the end of the game.

Last Friday room 6 made a movie called Rugbal. It was really fun, there were 2 teams red and blue...every kid was split into 2 groups. There was a person who watched and saw who won and made the game start . Then the kids got tags and pink for red and blue or green for blue . At the end of the game the team that won wasss ……………………………..RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was really cool and the kids in the red team said “ We got the fast kids “ and yeah that was odd but at least both teams had fun! . Good job Tonga , Mel Makea , Osa , ROOM 6!!! AWESOME!!!!

on the field. My favourite part was when my team kept on getting a try. We kept trying our best to try and get the score and win. Blue team was trying their best but my team won. Blue team were brilliant and tried their best. Next time when we play the game I want the teams to be boys vs girls to see who will win. Hi my name is Julia and we played a game that Osa, Mel, Tonga and Makea made. It was called rugball. It was really fun. We had red team vs blue team. When the referee clapped 2 times we had to run. You can only pass the ball twice. It's just like ripper rugby but you can only pass it 2 times. It was a really fun game. I wonder what game were going to play next?

Talofa Lava!!! I am Kolopa I really liked the game that the boys made.there was Blue team and Red team red team played really well, they scored more points then us so I congratulate them. I also thank our teacher MIss Tuia for putting the boys movie on (PENN) Ithink the boys was really proud of our teacher for putting it on (PENN) But i don’t think all our game will show in (PENN) because next week is the last week for us to have a holiday. But it Okay Miss Tuia is a best teacher I think she can put all of our movie on PNN for people to watch. I hope you have a nice day on the holiday and have FUN!!!

I like the way that we played well together and I have to say well done to the blue and red team. I like the way that we passed the ball to each other and I really loved this game and when we played we made sure everyone had fun and played safe and no-one got hurt and cried.
